Project made for Costume for performance September- December 2015

My inspiration for this dress was a simple elegance to start:

The construction process was difficult, I didn´t have a half scale body form, so the students we could only work during the class.

I don't have many pictures from the making process, the fittings were only made at class and so they are the pictures.

I remember to have sewn and unpicked the waistband up many times at home, because of the lack of body form to measure.

I made a day bodice with smoking at the front, but I had problems with fitting and my poor making skills, so the result didn't satisfy me.

Anyway, the evening bodice is so cute, I am pretty happy with my project.
